Yoga for Youth!
A four – week series

Tuesdays, July 14, 21, 28 & Aug 4
7-11 year olds
In this not-as-quiet-as-usual yoga session, students will learn breathing exercises and body movements (yoga poses) for harnessing energy and centering. Using music and games and nature, children will learn new poses to increase flexibility and strength, improve concentration and focus, help alleviate stress and anxiety, and simply get the wiggles out!
Yoga Girl Gang
12-15 year old girls
Tween and teen girls will bond in this non-competitive environment, learning how to feel comfortable in their own bodies and brains through asanas (poses) and breathing. They’ll also learn the importance of lifting others up through yoga principles reinforced through physical practice. Girls will practice poses to increase flexibility and strength, improve concentration and focus, help alleviate stress and anxiety, and simply feel good!

Yoga for Teens
Boys and girls ages 15+
Teenage years can be a mentally, physically, and emotionally challenging time in a young person’s life. Yoga can be a positive outlet that allows teens to look inward and find their center.
In this yoga series, we will emphasize the importance of mental and physical relaxation by providing tools to help calm when feeling stressed, to help focus before tests or homework, and explain the benefits of what we’re doing so they can come back to it when they need it.
In a compassionate environment, we aim to see teen students from a new light, help them become self aware, believe in them and support them.
Community Meditation For Peace
First Monday of each month
6:45 – 7:45 pm
If you want to help me change the world join me at my monthly meditations for PEACE. Donations will be collected to support the homeless in Virginia Beach. Come be a part of the collective energy for Peace! No experience necessary.
Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing
Second Sunday of each month
5:15 -6:30 pm
We will gather together to relax our bodies, empty our minds, and let our spirits soar.
The arts of meditation and sound healing will guide each of us to look inside and discover the universe within, leading us not only to new inner experiences, but helping to transform our day-to-day life into a better, and more meaningful and fulfilling existence. As well as restoring inner peace and balancing one’s chakras, these healing arts can help alleviate symptoms of stress and aid physical health.
Let the vibration and sound waves of the quartz crystal bowls wash over your body, creating a sound bath for your entire being, and let the chimes dance around you like the breeze at the oceans edge.
No experience necessary, all are welcome!!
Wear comfortable clothing; bring water, a yoga mat and/or blanket, a pillow and whatever else you need to be relaxed and comfortable.
