It is my hope that this series will help us take a stronghold on the things we can control so we can release the things we can’t. The things on which we focus bring us more of the like, so let’s choose to focus on ourselves and our good physical and emotional health – and let’s do it in the community! We need each other now more than ever, so let’s take this journey together.
September 12 – Essential Oils – Michelle Clark
The natural healing properties of essential oils and aromatherapy offer so many benefits to the body – stress relief, sleep support, mood enhancers, promote healthy digestion and circulation. We’ll share info about how oils can best support your specific needs for a body that feels healthy and well. And we’ll be making a DIY bath crumble to enjoy at home either to maintain continued good health or to use when the body drops below the wellness line. Register For Essential Oils.
September 26 – Yin Yoga – Karen Babcock
Yin Yoga is a slow mindful practice that opens up the energy channels and calms the mind while stepping up the body’s natural processes and improving overall health. Practicing surrender in Yin can aid in learning how to relinquish control and release stress and anxiety. And the physical benefits of the deep stretches help increase range of motion and flexibility, lengthen and strengthen muscles, improve balance and move lymph through the body. Register For Yin Yoga.
October 3 – Energy Healing – Jen Fedorowicz
Activate your energy for your BEST health! Whether suffering from chronic pain, dealing with anxiety or sleep issues, truly any physical issue can be healed from within. October 10 – Healthy Relationships – Kacie Steinmetz
According to Harvard Health Publishing, “Good connections and social support can improve health and increase longevity.” The power of positive connection promotes stronger immune systems, giving us the ability to stave off infection more efficiently and recover more quickly. The most authentic, healthy relationships are best created and nurtured between self-aware individuals who are willing to explore a deeper connection to oneself and how it affects our relationships. In that vein, we’ll first explore our relationship to self and then how we can command our reactions to others when we’re triggered and shift from a culture of shame and blame and anxiety to a culture of hope and love and support. October 17 – Massage and Reflexology – Rachel Mattox
Research is beginning to show more and more that massages don’t just feel good, they’re incredibly good for your body! Massage therapy stimulates the immune system by increasing circulation which helps to move lymph through the body, carrying toxins out. It can help reduce cortisol levels, boosting mood and easing stress and anxiety. Rachel will give us tools we can use at home for self-massage, reflexology and reiki self-healing with chakra stones. October 23 – Hypnotherapy – Lynn Wiederhold
Lynn will be sharing the benefits of hypnosis in response to easing stress and supporting the mind-body connection. She’ll guide us through a short hypnosis session and give us tools to take home to do our own self-hypnosis process to aid the body in its best health and strengthen the mind-body connection. November 21 – Proper Nutrition and Detox – Barbara Sobczak
Our bodies are “fearfully and wonderfully made”, but the onslaught of toxins attacking us daily has negatively impacted our health and immune system.
